Invention tables for community and family events

A drop-in build table for festivals, library programs, church family days and HOA events. Kids come and go, build something quick, and leave with it.

What your kids get

For libraries, churches, HOAs and local businesses

  • A quick build that works for drop-ins. Ten to fifteen minutes per kid, so a crowd keeps moving and nobody waits long.
  • Coaches and materials for the expected crowd. Tell us the turnout you expect and we bring enough of everything.
  • Indoors or out. A pavilion, a lawn, a library room or a lobby. We bring the tables' worth of materials; you bring the tables.
  • Fits your event. Hosting a family day for your business, church or HOA? The build table runs as part of your program.

Where it happens

Libraries, churches, HOA events, farmers markets and local businesses around FishHawk, Lithia, Valrico, Riverview and Brandon.

Ages

Built for 5 to 8. Younger siblings can build with a parent; older kids get a harder version of the same challenge.

How it comes together

  1. 1

    Tell us about your group

The date, the place, the kids' ages, roughly how many, and how long you have. The contact form takes a minute.

  2. 2

We design the challenge and send a plan

A build that fits the group, what we bring, the little you set out, and the pricing. Nothing is due until you confirm.

  3. 3

    Our coach runs it

Every material and tool, the coaching, and the pack-up afterward. You get to watch the kids build.

Questions about community and family events

How many kids can come through?+

Depends on how long the event runs and how many coaches we bring. Tell us the expected turnout and the hours and we'll plan for it.

Does it work outdoors?+

Yes, with shade or a pavilion. Florida sun and cardboard don't love each other, so a covered spot is best.

Do we need to sign kids up in advance?+

No. The table is drop-in. Kids build when they arrive and take their invention with them.

How much does it cost?+

It depends on the hours and the expected turnout. Send us the date and the basics and we'll reply with a plan and pricing.
